My husband and I are Canadian PRs who have one baby girl named Vanessa who turned 1 year old at the end of September 2023. My husband works full-time from Tuesday to Saturday, and I am trying to return to work part-time 2 days a week on Friday and Saturday in the afternoons. While we're at work, we will need someone to help look after Vanessa. My parents currently help out on occasion, but as they are elderly, they are unable to look after her completely by themselves. We are hoping to find a babysitter who will be able to look after Vanessa at my parents' apartment, as they still want to spend time with their only grandchild. A bit more info on Vanessa: she is very energetic and enjoys being sung to and danced with. She is able to walk around on her own, and has started to pick up new words. She's able to use about 40 words and some baby sign language with varying consistency, and loves to mimic everyone. She has about 14 teeth and is able to eat many solid foods and isn't a very picky eater (but she is very messy!).
